Privacy Policy

When you create and use a BeraBot account, we may collect:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, and password (stored in protected form).
• Profile and configuration information, such as the profile name and streaming-platform usernames you choose to connect.
• Information made available by a platform you connect, such as channel identity, display name, profile image, platform user ID, and authorization tokens needed to maintain that connection.
• Live-event information required to operate BeraBot features, such as chat messages, gifts, likes, follows, subscriptions or memberships, cheers, and other live-stream events made available by the connected platform.
• Information you configure in BeraBot, including overlay settings, event actions, points settings, TTS settings, goals, timers, and game settings.
• Basic technical and operational information, such as connection status, errors, timestamps, and logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure.

We use this information to provide and operate BeraBot, including to:

• Connect your selected streaming platforms.
• Receive and process live events for overlays, alerts, chat commands, points, goals, TTS, timers, and games.
• Send live-chat messages and perform moderation actions when you choose to use those controls.
• Show creator and stream status within BeraBot.
• Maintain platform connections, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.
• Communicate with you when you contact support.

We do not sell personal information.

If you choose to connect a Google/YouTube account, BeraBot uses Google OAuth to request the access needed for the YouTube features you enable. BeraBot uses YouTube data only to provide and improve the BeraBot features requested by the connected creator. This includes identifying an active live broadcast, receiving live-chat events, and displaying or processing those events for the creator's configured tools.

When the connected creator chooses to use BeraBot's YouTube chat controls, BeraBot may also act on the creator's behalf to send a live-chat message, delete a selected live-chat message, temporarily time out a participant, or permanently ban a participant from the active live chat. BeraBot performs these actions only in response to the creator's use of the relevant BeraBot feature.

BeraBot does not use Google or YouTube user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not access unrelated YouTube data for unrelated purposes. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

We share information only as needed to run BeraBot. For example, a live event can be sent to your own BeraBot overlays or connected desktop application so the feature you enabled can work. We do not share your account information with other BeraBot users for their independent use.

Streaming platforms process information under their own privacy policies. When you connect TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Kick, or another supported platform, that connection is also subject to that platform's rules and policies.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account and connection information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep information for as long as it is needed to operate your account, profiles, and enabled features, or to address security, troubleshooting, and legal obligations. We may retain limited records where necessary after a deletion request, for example to prevent abuse or meet legal obligations.

You may disconnect a supported platform through BeraBot where that option is available. You can also revoke BeraBot's Google access from your Google Account's third-party access settings.

BeraBot currently does not provide a self-service account-deletion button. To request deletion of your account and associated BeraBot data, email support@beralive.com from the email address connected to your account. We may request information to verify that the request is yours before processing it.

BeraBot is not directed to children under the age required to independently use the applicable streaming platforms. Do not use BeraBot if you are not permitted to use those platforms or to consent to this policy.

We may update this policy as BeraBot changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
